The UWV app is designed for individuals receiving unemployment benefits (WW-uitkering) or sickness benefits (Ziektewet-uitkering) following unemployment in the Netherlands.

Key features of the UWV app include:

• Quickly submit your income statement on your smartphone or tablet.
• View a summary of your previously submitted income statements.
• Easily report your job search activities.
• Submit sick leave notifications.
• Submit return to work notifications.
• Receive reminders, such as if you have not submitted your income statement by the 21st of the month.
• Enable push notifications to receive timely alerts, for instance, if your income statement is due on the 21st of the month.
• View a breakdown of your benefit amount and payment date.

To use the app, you need to link it to your DigiD account and create a 5-digit pin code for convenient access.

The UWV app is optimized for smartphones running Android 9 or higher. Additionally, users can still input income statements through 'Mijn UWV', their secure personal online environment on uwv.nl. Job search activities can be reported through 'Mijn UWV' or 'Werkmap'. Sick leave and return to work notifications can also be managed via 'Mijn UWV'.
